About THE ARTIST AND Art Gallery
Meet the Artist and her passion for Shell Art!
- Hello, I am Karen Burke-Anderson, the Owner and Artist of TREASURES FROM HEAVEN, a gift and art gallery. All of my creations are one-of-a-kind fine art utilizing the treasures that God has given to us in the form of seashells, rocks, barnacles, sand, moss, trees, etc. Since no two shells are identical and vary in size, weight, color and shape, it is quite the labor-intensive challenge to gather by hand the shells from the beach and then produce the life-like images of fish, sea life, birds, animals and landscape.
- As Seashell Art is my primary art form, I am also proficient in Woodburning, Calligraphy, and Watercolor Painting of fish. I invite you to scroll through the website to view the various photos of my work.
- I am able to fulfill customized special order projects, where you give me the details of what you envision and I design a masterpiece that will hopefully exceed your expectations and result in you falling in love with the finished art. I look forward to collaborating our imaginations together!
